Golden Rose Make Up

When I went to the beauty expo last weekend, my eye fell on this brand I hadn’t seen before. Of course, being a lipstick addict, I went straight for the lip products!! And let me tell you, I am very pleased with the outcome!

Golden Rose describes itself as an international brand that is available in 93 countries. They have some values which they strive to follow: trust, quality, development and durability. They make sure all the products they deliver are produced in accordance with the International and EU – Standards. Golden Rose means affordable (and they really are!!) high-quality products and a brand that keeps up with the new trends. They are eco-friendly and DON’T test on animals! YAY!

Let’s start with the lipliners. I bought 4 of the 20 available colors: number 522 which is a deep red, 525 which is a bright fuchsia pink, 514 which is also a fuchsia pink but with some berry tones, and 519 which is a light warm brown. I noticed there are 2 different packaging’s but they both have the same name, so I guess they are/do the same thing. Correct me if I’m wrong! They are very smooth and have an incredible staying power!! According to the site they’re waterproof and let me tell you, they are! I had to rub my lips real hard when I tried to remove them with water, which is a good thing in my opinion, but you can easily remove them with makeup remover.

Next up are the Matt lipstick crayons. I have number 04, which is the exact same color as lipliner #514. Perfect match!! Second I have number 20, a bright red which you can pair with lipliner #522 if you like a soft ombre look. I personally always do some kind of ombre lip because I think it gives my face more dimension, but that is just my personal preference☺

You guys, I LOVE these lipstick crayons! They’re matt, but OH SO SMOOTH!! It feels like butter on your lips and they do not make you lips super dry or chapped because of the vitamin E they added in. The staying power is very good, they leave a subtle stain on your lips which I like. Also, you don’t have to use a lipliner with these if you don’t want to. You can get very straight lines using only the lipstick crayons!

Third I have a lipgloss from the Shimmer collection. I’m not really a lipgloss girl, but I thought I’d try one anyway. The one I have is number 56 which is a peachy shimmery color. The staying power is like every other lipgloss I own, which is not very long, but that’s something I expected. Also, when it wears of there is a lot of leftover glitter on your lips which I don’t really like, but if you don’t mind it shouldn’t be a problem!

Last but not least, I have a waterproof eyeliner. And it works! I bought it in the color 05 which is a smoky brown. It is retractable, so you won’t need to sharpen it. The eyeliner stays put really well when in water, but is easy removable with a makeup remover.
